Microlounge is a refined concept by Club Kowloon focusing on minimal, deep and layered house music.

For the 5th edition of Microlounge we are continuing our collaborating with Terrible Baby to further strengthen and build the scene in Kowloon. Catch us in the lounge of Terrible Baby, the new bar/music concept of Eaton HK.

Eaton HK has undergone a huge renovation, with a new and interesting arts and culture programme, including exhibitions,  movie screenings, talks and music events.

Inspired by the minimal house scene which has a strong foothold in Europe, the goal of this party series is to develop and build a platform for sophisticated house music in Hong Kong.

Kim Dürbeck is a Producer and Dj that started digging records, producing and DJing at an early age. Influenced by Detroit legends like Jeff Mills, Plastic Man, Jesse Saunders, Larry Heard and so on. Kim Produces ambient, acid house and techno collecting and developing his sound with analog modular synthesisers and drum machines.

Kim has supported artist such as Black Devil Disco Club (FR), Onra (FR), Ashley Beedle (UK), Giorgio Moroder (IT), Ben Klock (GR), Karima F (No) and Mori Ra at Club Claiflower (Osaka)

Most of the time you will find Kim doing disco sets at Ingensteds and playing techno in and around Oslo, Norway.

Kim is part of the duo Superkind (founded in Tokyo 2015) with Rulefinn and has released  12“ discoedits on the label Finnitus as well as released a acid House remix of Dortmund on Spectrowave Records (FR). In the end of May 2018 Kim did a closing set at shapes festival after Prins Thomas.

Espen Cook is a Norwegian DJ and painter. Started DJing in 2013 and since has been playing at clubs such as 宀 Club (HK) OIL Club (SZ), Duddell's 都爹利會館 (HK) Social Room (HK), XXX(HK), Salon 10 (HK) Colectiva Gazette and Gazette (ROM), Landmark Bergen (NOR) and has an ongoing residency at Cassio (HK) and The Peninsula Hong Kong

Founded Club Kowloon in 2017 a Hong Kong based art, music and lifestyle company - promoting underground music and organising events. Breaking up the pre-existing hierarchy of the small HK underground scene, the goal of Club Kowloon is to open up for new and interesting collaborations with a different angle.

The musical output of CK is firmly positioned within house, techno and minimal - inspired by the European groove-driven, steady and well curated sounds and parties. As the name suggests, Club Kowloon focuses on the Kowloon (mainland) side of Hong Kong - a city where most parties and events happens on Hong Kong Island. CK is establishing a mixed local and international scene based on freedom of expression, the combining of music and arts, collaboration between talented designers, DJs and VJs, and a concentration on the local community.

Club Kowloon has organised parties in Hong Kong, Spain, Romania and Norway. With a fast growing local and international presence and is becoming a platform for new, old and up-and-coming artists rooted in the land of the nine dragons.
