CRAFT NIGHT AT BREAKFAST CLUB TOKYO WITH AROW, ESPEN COOK AND NERVOUS NILS

Craft Night is a new monthly activation merging nightlife, collaborative art-making, and graphic design. Hosted at Breakfast Club Tokyo during Lia’s weekly Thursday craft nights, each session invites the audience to directly interact with and reinterpret Espen Cook’s work in real time. For every edition, Espen creates and installs original artworks as open canvases. The pieces can be traced, drawn over, collaged on, or used as backdrops for new creations. Throughout the evening, Club Kowloon curates the DJ lineup, shaping an atmosphere where music and visual experimentation merge into one continuous performance. All contributions are collected and scanned after each event. Over six (+-) activations, these collaborative pieces, together with the DJ mixes, photos, and hand-painted posters, will evolve into a new body of work to be exhibited in Tokyo. Each night also features a unique poster design, fusing graphic design, documentation, and nightlife aesthetics, turning the event itself into part of the artwork. CRAFT NIGHT transforms nightlife into a site of creative exchange and collective production.
